What is the Love + Heart Collection all about?

Well 7 years ago, I lost my beautiful mom to CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) FAR TOO YOUNG. It happened from a strange virus that had attacked her heart and lungs, she was eventually diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy with put her into heart failure. After waiting until she was "ill" enough for several years, she was finally put on the heart transplant list. She was flown between Regina + Edmonton for treatment and care. The Mazankowski Heart Institute in Edmonton is where transplants are preformed in Western Canada. She unfortunately did not make it to her transplant, but she received such amazing care while there... As a thank you to this amazing place, that we are very lucky to have access to... I have put together a yearly fundraiser in her memory.

~ The LOVE + HEART collection ~ is designed with the intentions to spread love through pieces of clothing. A portion of every piece sold in this collection will be collected and donated to The Mazankowski Heart Institute in memory of my mom. Last year we raised $1000 and I am hoping to raise even more this year. February is Heart Health Month around the world, February 29 (Leap Year) is also my moms birthday. So it is only fitting we dedicate the month of love + hearts to her. All sales from the heart + collection from Jan 13 - Feb 28 will go to this amazing place ~ The Mazankowski Heart Institute. We hope to help others and their families on their journey, the same journey we once walked.
